The Department of Pediatric Cardiology of Hadassah University Medical Center takes care of fetuses, babies, children and adults with congenital or acquired heart diseases.
Many children are referred from other countries including surrounding states, previous USSR countries, some Europeans countries etc…
The department is located in the new Mother and Child pavilion at Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Campus

The Department has 3 premium echo system (GE) and 4 portable echo machine in our lab

This includes all kind of balloon dilation of valves and vessels, stent implantation, ASD, VSD, PDA and collateral device closure, coil embolization, fistula embolization.
The Department of Pediatric Cardiology is at the frontline of clinical research in fetal and pediatric echocardiography. It provides all different assessment of a fetal and child heart function.
There is a special program win which we follow and treat all pregnant women with autoimmune disease such as lupus erythematosus which are referred to us all over the country.
The Department provides care and support the pediatric heart surgical team which operates on about 200 children a year with a survival rate of 98%.
The 12 beds pediatric Intensive care unit accepts these children in severe cardiac condition or after heart surgery.
